Question About BELKIN AUTO KITS for Ipods

Hey guys! What's going on? Well, I have a question relating to the Belkin Auto Kits for Ipods. I know I am probably going to be flamed for "posting another **** Ipod thread", but I really did try to search and could not find much information about the Belkin Auto Kit. To me the kit seems like the perfect tool to hook my Ipod into my car, but I have heard some cases of people who complain of a constant buzzing sound. I would be using the kit to directly plug my ipod into my HUs AUX input. ...

So what is the real deal with the Belkin Auto Kit? Is it good or is it bad? Am I going to get this buzzing sound or is that stuff not true?

my ipod does that when it is charging and playing at the same time. i think that just a conventional mini jack to rca would be the way to go. it is simple and you wont get the buzz from it. i used that for my ipod.

I'm going to just connect it too the mini jack. The only thing the Belkin does for you is charges the iPod and has another mini jack (that might be a line level? not sure) But how long does your iPod battery last and how many hours do you drive a day? IMO i wouldn't bother with the charger, just charge your iPod at night and it's good to go for the whole next day.

So you mean just hook the line from the heaphone port of the ipod? Is that going to change quality at all?

it'll be louder than the headphone port out o the top of the opd.

is there any disadvantages of listening to your ipod files through a headunit, such as lost bass, sq, etc. an example being the radio doesn't have nearly as much bass as a cd.
