Question about air space

I hate to ask this stupid *** question because I think I know the answer but I figure I will ask it anyway.

Does it make a difference on where the air in the box comes from if the box is different shapes with a skinny channel? To make it easier, take a look at the very crude 2 sec drawing below and let me know if it will work. Thanks!

As long as the right volume is in there, it doesn't matter what shape the box is.

Technically, you want to avoid parallel surfaces to get rid of standing waves, but generally, it's nothing to worry about. You're fine.

Dude i swear that drawing is flicking all of us off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif Or is it just me who sees it???
Actually, I do see that now that you mention it. Just rotate the pic to the left. I was being serious though. Lol!
