This just means that God, or the idea of God, is shaky at best.

How ever many ideas you can think of, that's how much you have to think in order to observe God in His entirety(according to the God principals monotheistic religion gives Him). If God = all that is possible, you cannot think of ONE possibility without excluding all other possibilities. Unless of course you have the ability to think of everything at once??

Best thing to do, IMHO, is just BE!

Read Richard Dawkins. He does a great job of showing how God is the grandest of the grand dillusions. He does similar things with logic I tried to do (but WAY better).

I do not think we have the same interpretation of the meaning of the word right. The typical connotation means you won't get in trouble for actions which you have the right to do.

what I am saying is you have the "right" to choose; you are then responsible for your choice.

why, yes every one has the ability. But it is also your right to choose or to not choose. You can choose to believe and you can choose to not believe - one would assume you have the "ability" to make that choice and whatever that choice is would be your right to choose

But it is also your right to decide. You can decide to either believe or to not believe in a deity - one would assume you have the "ability" to make that decision and, how that decision pertains to each individual, would be the right decision.
