Q- logic box for a T212d2??????

ive been recomended by crutchfield techs to go with the Q logic 1.7512ss ported box for my rockford t2, meanwhile i got back my second t2 i was running a kicker cvr sub with the T2 on a rf t1000.1bd amp. it sounded clean . then you guys recomended not to do that so i put the t2 by its self, dosnt sound as good .i checked the voicecoils their fine. is it just the box

yes. go find someone on this forum to build you a much nicer box that will bring out the full potential of the T2......cause they can get pretty **** loud imo.......

the thing is i have limmited space in my truck and that box fits pretty good, you dount think i messed it up. how should i wire the sub if its 2 ohm same as the amp 2ohm

actually, you can only get a 1 ohm load or a 4 ohm load.

He has a 2ohm DVC. Actually two of them, but they are each independent and wired to their own amp. Each sub should be wired like this:

the amp is a t1000.1bd im pretty sure its a 2ohm amp

500W x 1 @ 4-Ohms

750W x 1 @ 2-Ohms

1000W x 1 @ 1-Ohm

So if you wire it according to the picture above, it will present a 1-ohm load to the amp. The amp is capable of putting out up to 1000 watts into a 1 ohm load. Just make sure you sent the gain knob properly so you don't try to overdo it.

it makes sense but the thing aboult these amps is that they are underrated the actual rms power is more like 1500 wrms

That may be true. You said it was a 2-ohm amp, and I was just saying it could also go to 1 ohm.
