pyle

you go ahead and do that. i have owned both. i had a single polk 200 watt rms sub easily outdo 2 pyles. and polk isn't even the best around.
lol ok.....

considering nobody expected 2 ma audio 18s to do a 150 sealed on dash with 3000 watts..... daily tuned

id be more than happy to test one of these. 2 actually

when i use this amp though it dims the lights and the safety light comes on when i put the gain up could it be the way thats its wired?

never messed with ma, but 2 18's of any company has tons of cone. i'd bet that a couple of decent 18's with a decent design could hit high with a small amount of power.

if thats true why isnt there more people out there hittin a 150 ???? its affordable gear???? and not alot of power???

Lanzar and Pyle are both manufactured by Sound Around, located in China. At least, I think that's the way it is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Lanzar is one of SA's highest lines, where Pyle is one of the lowest.

Overall, Lanzar subs and amps aren't inherently bad, they just aren't capable of what the company claims. Overrated and bad are two different things IMO.

Pyle, on the other hand, is explicitly manufactured to appeal to car audio enthusiasts that are a) stupid, b) completely inexperienced, or c) are looking for showmanship (Chrome and bling) and a really high max watts rating big for as little money as possible.

But I digress. Will the amp work with the sub? Yes. Will it sufficiently power the sub? Yes. Is it going to satisfy the bass needs of a car audio n00b? Nope. =)

EDIT: Just to throw in what I think, I have firsthand experience with Legacy, Roadmaster, and Pyramid equipment, which is as close to Pyle in quality that you can get. I will never deal in anything of those brands again with the one exception of the Pyramid Gold line produced several years ago. The rest of it is absolute junk and a waste of good ferrite and polypropylene.

im in brownsburg indiana actually and was planning to go to the washington street flea market tomorow to trade in for more power. and right now i have 8 gauge wire to amp but have 4 gauge in my garage to put in it

you don't need more power. put in the 4 guage and make sure you are grounded as well as you can, also with the 4 guage.

k with the flea market thought that is where i got the amp from so thats the only place we can trade it in for price paid thats the reason we were going there.
