Putting together the cheapest system I can. Need help!

Hi everyone! I need your help. I'm looking to put together a system for my 1995 Toyota Corolla. I'm looking to spend as little as possible but get equipment that is reliable. By that I mean stuff that isnt known to break or over heat, etc. I know cheap and reliable doesn't usually go together but I'm hoping for entry level stuff.

My budget is $700, MAX!, But I prefer less, maybe around 500-600.

Please take into account wiring. Basically everything besides the box. I have a prefab 12inch box that I can use until later when I can build a custom enclosure.

What I'm looking for is an amp, HU, front components and a single sub. Either 10-12 inches.

Other than the box, I also have a used alpine V12 MRV-T707 2 channel that does 70x2@4ohms, 120x2@2ohms and 240x1@4 when bridged.

If I dont use that amp I'll just sell it for extra $. I'm looking for basically a dual amp setup using that amp or a 4 channel amp setup where I bridge 2 channel to run a sub.

Can you please help me piece together a system with some recommendations. I'm not sure what is really good or not. I was thinking of using a RF 300 amp but when bridged it only does like 150 watts rms. Which doesnt leave much in terms of sub options.

What would you do in my case? Other than buy used. (which I'll still look for)

btw: my goal is to have a better system than the average stock car. I listen at normal levels so I'm looking more for SQ than insane bass. I listen to rock and some rap music.

My system that I plan on getting is around 500 and its just a fairly cheap JVC deck, a kenwood 1000w mono block and two alpine type e subs already have a small amp for the door speakers so that cuts the price down a bit.

I no you said "Other then used" but if you do some research, you can find some awesome older components out there in great condition that people are almost giving away. Might take longer but it's probably a much better option then buying cheap new stuff.

Thanks for all the offers guys!

Problem is right now I'm putting together the money for all this. So the reason I dont want used is b/c half the deals I find now might be gone later.

So if you have some new recommendations that be awesome! I'm basically looking for a decent sub. And some nice speakers in front. Idc if they are components or coaxials. As long as they sound good!

As for amps and HU's. Thats where I'm really stumped.

So from looking at the Kenwood amps recommended above. I found one that is 140$ that makes 500rms at 2ohms. Then maybe an audioque SDC2.5 10 for 130. And about 100$ for a dual amp kit that is 4g to two 8g. Then lets say the HU costs 120 with install kit included. I found a pioneer and kenwood HU on crutchfield.

That leaves 110 for speakers, either coaxial or components. Ones that will run off 70 watts rms.

Can you recommend me some front speakers or possibly a sub that will be as good or better for the same or lower price as the SDC2.5.

here is the HU I found: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113MP345U/Kenwood-KDC-MP345U.html?tp=5684&tab=features_and_specs

Thanks!

No offense to the other 2011'ers but the majority of the help you're getting is from noobs like yourself so before doin more research into their suggestions i'd wait n see what some of the other members have to offer. That dd sub would be a great sub and there are alot of them out there so u can more than likely find one once you get the money.

But for some useful info, check out the sa10 or 12. They do well off low power feom what i've seen but you'd have room to upgrade later once finances allow

It has been for sale for a while and no money has been sent so itll probably be here... I will also have a Skar 12 soon up For sale...
haha well i'll hit u up when that time comes. Mainly for the sub or components.

btw, any opinions on what I have picked out so far? Especially the HU.
