Hi everyone! I need your help. I'm looking to put together a system for my 1995 Toyota Corolla. I'm looking to spend as little as possible but get equipment that is reliable. By that I mean stuff that isnt known to break or over heat, etc. I know cheap and reliable doesn't usually go together but I'm hoping for entry level stuff.
My budget is $700, MAX!, But I prefer less, maybe around 500-600.
Please take into account wiring. Basically everything besides the box. I have a prefab 12inch box that I can use until later when I can build a custom enclosure.
What I'm looking for is an amp, HU, front components and a single sub. Either 10-12 inches.
Other than the box, I also have a used alpine V12 MRV-T707 2 channel that does 70x2@4ohms, 120x2@2ohms and 240x1@4 when bridged.
If I dont use that amp I'll just sell it for extra $. I'm looking for basically a dual amp setup using that amp or a 4 channel amp setup where I bridge 2 channel to run a sub.
Can you please help me piece together a system with some recommendations. I'm not sure what is really good or not. I was thinking of using a RF 300 amp but when bridged it only does like 150 watts rms. Which doesnt leave much in terms of sub options.
What would you do in my case? Other than buy used. (which I'll still look for)
btw: my goal is to have a better system than the average stock car. I listen at normal levels so I'm looking more for SQ than insane bass. I listen to rock and some rap music.
