putting together speakers from parts express.some help needed

so im trying to get a budget system going for my neighbor 2006 chevy aveo

and instead of spending 50 bucks on coax bostons i thought i can throw together a lil better bang for the buck from parts express

im replacing al4 speakers radio and adding a sub

he wanted to spend around 300-400 bucks which is kinda nothing...

so heres the speaker and sub parts that i pu on my list

can anyone confirm that the crosover capacitors i picked would work ok

and if not can you suggest a better ones

and i also wanted to know if i can just hook up an air core inductor as a low pass for the 4' woofer

your selections look ok. are you sure that 4" mid will fit in the factory location - especially with the shielded magnet?

you can use an air core inductor as a low pass for the 4" mid.

not sure if your selections will out perform Boston speakers. main reason - those Jamo's are looking for an enclosure. where are you putting them?

Not sure about that mids but the tweets are pretty good, I've used them before. I'd go with different mids and possibly the 8" Dayton sub (HO or Hf, I think it is).

well those are the only ones 4 ohm

and bostons are not components

they are 50 bucks a piece(bostons)

they re going in the doors

how much work is it to fit a 6.5 there or at least 5.1/4

I would try and go with the largest mid possible.

I wouldn't waste my money on that mid.

Although if I could afford it, I would step up to the Dayton RS100. It's a much better driver.

yea man those are 100 bucks a pair total. i can buy made components for that price. and they re 8 ohm

hes on a 300-400 dollar budget for everything

its gonna be deck powered so cant use 8 ohm.
