Putting system in boat HELP?? Subs

I got a JVC 50x4 head unit.. 2 Kicker 6x9 DS693 Speakers ... 2 8 inch Kicker Impulse Subs...Crunch PZN2100 400 watt amp. All off Ebay for about 175.00 total.

The amp is 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms.. OR 2 x 200 into 2 Ohms.. OR 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms OR 1 x 400 into 4 Ohms.

My ? is.. the Kicker 8 inch subs I got are 4ohm so i think i can only hook it up 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms.

Would I be better of getting "ONE" 12 or 15 inch 4 ohm sub and hooking it up 1 x 400 into 4 Ohms?

I dont have much $$$ in these 2 8 inch subs so I dont care to ditch them and get "ONE" 112 or 15 if that will sound better.

i would get the larger sub ..something like a kicker comp 12 would work

I can hook it up to the amp at 1 x 400 into 4 Ohms..right?

And it would sound and be louder than the 2 8 inch subs hooked up at 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms?

yup a 12 has more cone area than 2 8's as well

OK...next ? dont laugh!...how do i bridge the 2 ch amp to do the 1 x 400

it varies form amp to amp but in general its positive form one side and negative from another....look in your manual itll tell you

I dont have a manual for the Crunch PZN210 and no luck yet finding one on line.
