Ah gotcha, allot of people were complaining about load times betweet tracks. I did notice a little lag before the disk started as you mentioned, just nothing when switching tracks! Cannot wait for my 634 6 disk mp3 alpine changer, this is gonna rock! SOOO MAN SONGS!

well i wont be getting one any time soon but once i do get my own car this is the deck that i will probably get. u got a nice vid and everything. one question though. is the 35 the one where u can change the light behind the knob from green to amber. also the rest of the buttons can change from like a total of 512 colors i think right?

That is why I made the vid, pics do not do it justice or the screen and features ect..
Alpine made this deck being audio pro's themselves... My girl or most friends that are not really into audio or technical at all would have no clue how to make use of this deck. I would not reccomend it to people that are total noobs or do not understand mid level audio terms and how they work.

i got 9835 3 weeks ago and have no clue how to set EQ/Crossover/ all the other 100000 sh#t they have. -.-;; someone need to teach me how to use it! lol

did you run a fuse directly from your battery to the head unit.. if not it will cause ya problems like when ya play a cd i believe it cuts out at 20??? good install tho looks good!

Should definitely be NO problem when running component amplifiers. This may be a possibility if you use the internal amplifier, but mine is turned off! I use amplifiers for my entie system. I only have 4 wires hooked up on my 9835, yellow (power main), red (power turn on), black (ground, and blue (remote). peace

Nope sure did not, no need! I have the power ic turned off and seperate amps. I have no problem railing this deck.

If you hook up and use the internal amp, that is the only time problems can occure.

Right on guys, either the 55 or 35 would be steller choices. The 55 screen is the same as the 35's screen, that photo is just showing what looks to be the input selection. IMO I would wait to see how the reliability is on the glide touch pad, if it is anything like the glide touch pad on my laptops I would never buy it hahaha!!!
