PSU for testing amps?

Whats the minimum amount of amps that would be recommended? Will a 12 amp psu be good enough to test car amps? Thanks for any help.

yes, a 12 amp will be ok to test amps...

i use a pyramid 20amp power supply to do all my first power up tests on amps i repair.
