providing some information...

You at GA Tech, by chance? A friend of mine goes to school there, her name is Champaigne lol

And if it's something small and you don't want to get your friend in trouble, to hell with them(but it is NOT smart to post it on the internet sir). If it's something semi-serious, with holding information could lead to some consequences, yes.

hahahaaha.....I am definately not gay. Im more of the ********** type person.....No, I dont go to GT, I am going to West GA though.

There is someone in my dorm that is gay, and someone from my HS was the one screwing around with him. I am supposed to talk with someone today, which is why I want to know what I am supposed to do....I dont want to turn someone in for petty stuff like that, but I dont want to do anything against the law myself.

actually, you are wrong again...

It is my roommate who is the gay kid. I didnt know if he was gay or not, and my friend was screwing around with him on AIM about a month ago, and that is when we found out he was gay. That friend gave his s/n to another person, and that kid is the one who is "harrassing." I am not a snitch, but they know that I know the people involved, so I assume that they are going to question me about it. I dont want to tell any information about any of it, I personally want to stay out of it, but i dont want to break any laws, especially if this situation gets blown out of proportion.

BTW...through all of this, I did manage to get a room change, and my new roommate is straight...thankfully....

lol and for you... who cares about the guy. no need to snoop around and think that your gonan get a prize for snitching. It's his business so i suggest not to be part of it. Just let it beeeee and continue with your life.

yeah.dont be a fukin ***** about it.

People lit out hallway on fire, but noone snitched cuz noone is a *****

Discrimination is a BIG thing these days. And if they find out that you were with holding information you might get the axe. If I were you I would tell the guy who is harassing that its time to come clean and apologize and maybe he could get out of it with a slap on the wrist. But if I had to choose between getting expelled or providing info on the harrasser there is NO contest. The guy who is harrassing isn't going to get you back into school if you take the hit for him....so to hell with him. Sounds like he needs a lesson in life anyway.

He said they already know he knows something........if he doesn't say anything now thats obstruction.
Not true. You are not required by law to devulge information, unless there is a court order in a criminal investigation. Campuss security is hardly the "law".

Go read the 5th ammendment.

Ever heard of just cause?? If they feel he knows something they can get a court order. Just because they're campus security doesn't mean the real cops can't get invloved. As I said earlier, harassment is a BIG thing these days and a learning institution such as a college will NOT tolerate any of it plain and simple. Because if the kid were to continue to get harassed even after he reported it he could place a nice big lawsuit on that institution for allowing it to happen. So yeah, in my opinion I would devulge whatever I knew. And to hell with loyalty to the kid who is doing the harassment. If he can't find something better to do with his time than fvck with someone based on their ****** orientation then he needs to learn a lesson.
