Hi, when i turn on my ZX 750.1 for the first time, i try to play it at 24 out of 35 volume for example, and the light turns red then green again, and tries to play but it cuts out again. I have to lower the volume till i drive about 3 mins then i can play the amp and higher volumes. There's gotta be a way around this cause its highly annoying. For Example, everyday after football practice, friend comes up to me "Lets hear those subs you got", so i try turning it up and i cant even get it to the point where its bumping good to even show anything lol. I just got a new battery so at high volumes it doesnt dim anymore, and a proffesional installed my system. Im also running an Orion 3002 to my 6x9 speakers and that doesnt cut out ever.

hmmmmmm yet ANOTHER similar problem with the kicker amps....

only thing that seems logical that someone explained to me (happened to be your same model amp i believe) is that there is a solder joint in the amp that can burn up and cause this problem. zthumper got that info from a kicker tech over the phone, and they said they have had an unusual amount of problems like this. low and behold after looking on my board of my 2500.1 i see a 4 pin solder joint, that looks burnt, and i get the protect on/off issue as well
