protect mode

why does my viper 1200.1 go into protect mode after 10 to 20min of play and my gains are set right im 100% sure of that. any ideas:crying: also if this helps it is wired at 1 ohm.

my subs are 2 15" dual 4 ohm subs and i wired each one into 2 ohm and when both hooked up to the amp its supposed to equal 1ohm could it be because i turned the bass all the way on my cd player. and if its at rms i should be able to play it at that level all day right.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

he means ur idleing voltage in ur electrical system... not on ur amp... its probly round 12 or so and if uve upgraded ur alt and stuff then its probly round 14
