Pros and Cons: Type R VS RL-P

i have an rl-p and i might be getting a type r, but i dunno if i wanna get that or the mmats dreadnaut, right now im trying to make box plans for my rl-p and a type r and dreadnaut

umm look who ya talkin 2, ive tested the rl-p in diff cars and diff boxes. the R meters louder, handles more power and juss plain out beats it in output. cmon now we have been through this be4, do a search. the rl-p isnt a bad sub, but it juss not a sub i would run in my truck. the R has been good 2 me thus far, waitin for a sub 2 come along and hopefully take its place, but no sub has yet,//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif dont think i'd get rid of it, the price is juss 2 good for a sub of this level.

We did tests of the type-r vs. the RL-P, the type-r killed it in SPL. Seriously no contest.
The RL-P is marketed as an SQL sub, and for good reason. Although SQ is subjective, i'd venture to say the RL-P has better SQ.
well I wouldn't doubt the type r's capabilities, just saying the RL-p can get decently loud if ya want it to. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I got it metered with the TL mic about a month ago. 300 watts going to it, in a 2.0 net sealed box, mic placed in the passenger side kick. I managed to do a 137 dB. (I know this is no where near what you veterans hit with your setups //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif ) It should be higher now with the amp I have currently powering the sub.
