proper way to hook up a L7 ?

hi i have a kicker 12" L7 and a jl 500/1 amp i was just wondering what the best way to connect it to the sub it has 2 voice coils ? thanks alote

yeah i know speaker wire . i just mean with the 2 voice coils should i connect them togther ? thanks

if it is the 4ohm dvc then wire parallel to create 2ohm at the amp

if it is the 2ohm dvc then wire series to create 4ohm at the amp....500/1 amps are rated for 1.5ohm and i don't know if you can run them at 1 ohm!?

if it can be run at 1ohm then wire the 2ohm dvc parallel for 1ohm load

it is 4 ohm thats for your help ! does anyone know if it would hurt anything to run the 500/1 amp with the speaker wired in parallel with a 2 ohm load ? thanks

It should be fine. They have regulated power supplies from 1.5-4ohms?
