Proper Staging

With mids and tweets on the dash, I'd suggest crossing the mid down to 200hz- or else those **** deepthroat vocalist will give you problems.

^ gain adjustments really help with this. The real problem is location of the midbass, and localization..

I cross my midrange (4") at 250hz 24db, and the midbass in the kicks are crossed at 200hz 24dB.

Cabin gain the car bloats 160-300hz in my car. Leaving a gap has been my best method, short of hacking the EQ nearly all the way to maximum drop.

nex shipped out the kicks and should be here in a couple days...on a side note, i was thinking about more power to my front stage. im thinking of replacing my 300/2 with a 450/4. ill run the midbasses straight to the amp (ch 1 and 2 @ 150w each), and the midranges and tweets through the xover on ch 3 and 4 @ 75w each. does that sound like a good idea?
