i am running a seperate 16v alt.

in my opinion...ditch the 16v and either add 4 more sundowns (un realistic with 8 amps) or get some stronger amps...that will give each sub 2500-3k

the sundowns will do close to that @ .5 on 14v

from waht ive read anyway

not with the rise he will be seeing...and I dont think they will jump 1k from 1ohm to .5...that is unless they are extremely underrated...
