thanksgiving sounds nice.congrats, when do you guys plan to actually get to work?
Ah, looks liek you beat me to my new setup.... Only I'm gonna have 3,000 watts on each....If I don't run it at 17 volt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gifanyways its for 4 15" mts, and as of now, the plan is 4 of the sundown audio 1500w amps (@ .5 on 16 volts) so itll deff be more than 1500w. im also reconing all 4 mts from dvc 2 ohm to dvc 1 ohm (one is a 12, needed a recone anyways, the other 15 has a slight hole in the surround, and the other 15, the basket is bent, so i might as well recone all 4 to dual 1's....btw i had a lil fun with the 12....involved a wall socket lol)
Silly tommy...Those sundownz might Fry with a .25 ohm load daily. I think I remember a kid running into problems with a .35 load daily. Also you might want to check with sundown about running them at .5 daily on 16 volts...just to make sure you are in the clear. Other than that, it should get loud, but it will be all in the build, walls take some engineering.Oops, thats right.
Not sure what I was thinking there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
dual 2 subs = 1.4/coilthey will run up to 18v and theyve been tested @ .5 (12v tho) and it went into protection 2 times i believe, but it was over like a 5 hour period of testing
Silly me, trix is for kids!Silly tommy...Those sundownz might Fry with a .25 ohm load daily. I think I remember a kid running into problems with a .35 load daily. thats a fi philosophy....not always the case.dual 2 subs = 1.4/coildual 1 subs = .7/coil
i hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
dmm matched? and yeah, they're more efficient "un-strapped"thats a fi philosophy....not always the case.
and
idk what vj said in the first post, but they arent going to be straped at all. according to Jacob, they will lose power if you strap them. they will be running at .5 each, and gain matched to each other.
