And see if you can separate the back wall from the box, make it movable, this is a good trick, put it inch by inch closer to the front baffle, you will see a gain.

Well. thanx for your optimism lol, but 160 seems to be too far for me lol Really cant see 3-4 db gain here yet ...

Same time if you move the back wall, that makes the box much smaller ... or ...

The BEST thing here is that, ive learnt alot with my own experiences, it IS totally different to read and dream or to build and get something ...

160 is not that hard on this car, is very easy, you just need to do things strong. Please, if you dont get a good result on the testing try to put that back wall closer to the baffle.

As i rebuilt the whole box i dodnt have them yet, but will get tonight as i go to test her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

With previous install, when 1 amp was faulty and the box was made wrong (subs diagonal)i hit 155.9db on 62hz then fitted the port, tuned to 35hz and got:

very poor result on 20 hz --- 141.5db

much better on 25 hz ... 148.6db

33hz 149.8db

40hz 153.8

All this when doors closed and remember, all this with 1 faulty amp, which gave out only half power.

Next box tuning with removable port will be around 27hz for daily as im interested of "propper dropper" score more than peaky one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Port is peaking 67-69hz, so that should be OK but cant see 157db nowhere yet ...

By reducing the box, will the frequency increase or drop ? I mean, thinking to add 1 more sheet of ply on the back wall ..

And theres defo no point to put the 45's into the box ?
