Hi guys, so will post up here my story with the Panda and how we getting on with that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pandbassa = mixed Panda + bass and sounds kind a evil already :p

Why i making this thread ?

I hope some pple have much much more experiences than most of us have and can be useful to me to help me to build the loudest car in Ireland //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif

So all opinions and suggestions are more than welcome and i appreciate all that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So far what i've done ?

Bought the car specially for basstricks

Ordered 22m 0 gauge cables

Hoping to get 4 x NSB 90 batteries, so far seems i get them , cheers to firestarter @ talkaudio.co.uk

Headunit into Panda --> Pioneer P88RS tnx to big_k @ talkaudio.co.uk

Hopefully I got the subs as well, i tell you more about them when they here !

Hard to get a second amp, but working on that have already 1 DD Z1 and looking for second one, so feel free to make me an offers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Actully prefer to get it from Europe, s then i dont have to pay the VAT and import fees, but still u can make me an offer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Then component speakers ... dunno yet, those Infinity Kappa Perfect series i have in the Audi, they play really loud but midbass is a bit poor, same time if you have 150+´db in the car, you will not notice the midbass anyway i think ? but good tweeters is a MUST which Infinity has .. or ? IMO theyr play silly loud ...

Anyone any good ideas of cheap and good compos ?

will get 2 sets of them as well ...

So nearly all my stuff will be second hand gear coz if i have to buy a new gear i have to sell all my life lol

Like i said, all the suggestions and feedback is more than welcome Im not perfect but i have a wish to make it !

and i hope in few months this PANDBASSAss is ready for burp :beam:

Will keep you informed with updates as well, so far few pics only //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I want a Panda //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif....good luck with the build. What are you trying to accomplish exactly? Will this be a burp box, or a low tuned groundpounder? Most people get them for fart boxes...

first im trying to get it burp as loud as possible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

then im thinking to make a removable port and go for the streetbass

if box should be smaller, thinking to add something into box si the inter measurements will be smaller ...

just an idea, as i have 4-5 months time to build it ...

No im not waisting the time, so started today and i hope nearly every day i can spend few hours with the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

box thickness now ... 1 inch is too thin ?

thought to go for 2 inch, now all your help will be more than welcome //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Are you going to wall it or keep the box below the window line? I don't know exactly how your classes are divided(or if you're even planning on competing, or just testing it yourself and seeing how loud you can get).

If you're going below the window line, the sub's up and port back is really a fail-proof place to start your testing.

I'm almost sure he had mentioned previously that he was looking at building a wall
Correct, very first time im building a wall //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Rules are crap in Ireland, so for me is everything allowed to get it LOUD //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

build the box as thick as you can for starters.

if you want I can also email you some pics of

the build from our walled Panda //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

2 15s or 4 12s walled would look sick in that lil guy. What kinda space you have to work with?
off topic but one day Id love to go visit Ireland.
not sure about the space yet ... will do some calculation tonight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
