Project PANDBASSA

Panda rocks, but those seats look very uncomfortable. My fatass would break those I think. h aha ha
exactly! hehehe

but is a nice car to drive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

You could always just lower the front, cheap alternative, you might actually like the feel/ahdnling
I lowerred my qx4 2" in the front to compensate for sag on a 300lbs worth of install
Even though it might appear to "sit" fine, you really do need heavy duty springs. The ones in the back are under a lot of strain and the ones in the front are simply just smaller springs. You can still keep the rear low if you want, but you need springs with a more progressive spring rate in the rear. Even though they would both sit at the same height, the lower springs with a much stiffer spring rate will handle better and won't bottom out when being cycled like the stock springs will, even though they appear to be at the same height. I'd say if you're going to put that much money into the Panda, may as well do it right.

Here's one of my favorite Panda builds:

Most Europeans don't use angles.
actually best way to put it is that the majority of the enclosures in Wall applications have no angles and are complete squares with 90degree corners.

by the way nice pic of the Street Max vehicle in the pic above

or is it the SS 1-2 set up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thank you ll for you suggestions and yes ive thought already to get lowering springs for her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

@murilo

Got this corners idea from UK loudest SS panda owner, he hit with these subs 164db and confirmed that the angles gained, cant remember now how much bur maybe i got something wrong ..

First il try without and then with temporary ones, if it gains il fit them, i have time here so why not to try //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Saw this pic a while ago, seems there are 15's fitted, the way easier to fit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Panda height is 94cm from the floor to the roof, 1 sub diameter is 46cm.

Oh i hate that theres not enough room that i would like ...

Oh and nice to see ya Dumped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Tnx //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thats the main reason of the rebuild //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But im already excited to compare, as 1 amp was always faulty, gave out only 1/2 power and got really hot in 10 min, now its fixed and back home, and box is nearly 1.4 cu ft bigger ... so i hope to see some gain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

believe me you can fit a pair of 18s stacked one on top of the other no problem...

Today was a dam lovely weather so it was hard to work with the car while having few beers and BBQ as well:D

So did some wiring work with the panda and tried the subs ... was kind a skeptical with the lower sub but seems everything is fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Looks good man, is it only the front baffle that is quadruple (maybe more?) baffled? Or is the whole box that thick.
Nice work

it looks like you took the speaker door pods you built off?
The top and bottom sheets are 1", the rest of it its all 2" marine ply ...

Door speakers arnt so important at the moment, as the Sound off will be held after 2 weeks, but they will be back there soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just not the way i fitted them last time, i mean i lose the brackets there ... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
