Best of all CHECK OUT THIS FLEEECE!!!!!!!!

How many cube is it gonna be boys?

i've never had that problem. i dont like hot glue cause it dries within like 2 seconds. maybe its just the type i use.
nice work by the way.
hot glue is my favorite because of that reason, just plop it on, stretch and stick.

but it drips on my fingers and burns the shit outta my skin sometimes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

id maybe try food coloring if i wanted to die it? give it a try on a test piece

I've seen some glass dyes sold here. Looks like normal glitter you'd put in car paint or something. Really don't see the need to color it if you're gonna smoothen it out and paint over it. I wouldn't want raw fiberglass to show.

doin good man, looks like it should turn out quite nicely. do yourself a favor and refrain cutting the ring out until you are done glassing.

also - next time you go to lay it down, those strands sitcking up all over the place are a pain in the ***, make sure you sand them smooth with everything else. and when you begin your next glassing session - cover the hard glass with a thin layer of resin (to stop bubbles, and to make it easy for you, just stick it down, smooth it out, and resin on top)

otherwise, those hardened hairs will make tons of airbubbles and it will be a pain in your ***.

good looks so far.

Sooo, I can't change the title of this thread huh? Thats sweet, anyways, I moved the project indoors, and got another coat of fiberglass done yesterday, I got 2 more to do, then I will be onto bondo and paint. Who wants to explain the fiberglass prep and paint process? I have yet to figure out how big this box is, everywhere I go has no packing peanuts. GRRRRRRRRRR. Btw I wanted to change the title to a more informative title that tells about the wealth of pics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

you COULD just fill up with water, which would be dead-on accurate. I don't think fiberglass is porous, so if I were you and was desperate to find out the volume, I'd go for the water method.

Also, since it's a sealed box and it's already built, just estimate it. I doubt you'd hear a large difference between 0.5cubes in a sealed box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
