If figure if I use the spot weld cutter, it will leave the center of the stud, and then I can grind the surrounding area flat, and mount it back together similar to stock.
Sounds like your idea will work too. What are your plans for material on the door panels?

192, and yes I got epoxy resin, which was 61 a gallon.

That carbon fiber looks sexy as hell. Make sure you lay it down real nice so the pleats are straight and it doesn't have a wavy look to it. Nothing botches a CF job like waves in the grain.
