Profile Amps

im currently in the market for an amp that puts out atleast 500w rms @2ohm. i know there are lots of options out there that i have already looked at (kicker, orion, hifonics,mtx, jl, etc.). My budget is $200-$250 for the amp to push just one eclipse alum 10.

How big of a difference would i find if i ran this amp instead of say a kicker kx600.1?

Ive heard mixed opinions about Profile amps. Do they do their actual power? reliable?

imho profile **** nutz..no they dont do there actual rated power, if it says 1000watts...you will be getting like 600watts and thats if your lucky

so ur saying its a bad call and its worth the money to buy a kicker, etc.

I'de sure choose a kicker over a profile. But I'de choose a profile over say a Legacy amp.

So yes it is worth the extra money to buy the kicker.

I'd have to agree and say Profile isn't worth your time or money.

I bought a CL640 from thezeb.com and it arrived with a dead channel...

hell yeah....kicker is like a benz compared to profile which is like a luxury kia.

Profile makes decent amps but you definitely get what you pay for.
