BitOne hands down. just look at eBay and look at how many refurbished MS-8 are on there. I've seen so many of those things act up. when the MS-8 first hit, I was a huge fan. now i've seen it's longevity and quality, i won't even install them anymore. i'm sure others will swear by them but I've installed quite a few and almost all of them had some sort of issue. the BitOne on the other hand, i've had just about no issues and whatever issues i had were customer preference.
MS-8 has been the best selling processor in the world. You get more issues coming up by sheer volume vs the others. I will the first to admit I'm an MS-8 cheerleader and I read anything I can find about it. From what I know there are way too many installation professionals who do not understand MS-8 and can't tune it because they don't get the basics right, like matching speaker polarity throughout the system.

I'm still getting the 80prs dialed in and it's getting better. I found that if I move the position to the passenger seat it shifted more center and still maintained left and right. I feel the auto TA wanted the stage right in front of you instead of center dash. Is that normal?

Ive got the MS8 and its a great beginner processor. I say beginner because it auto tunes for you, and as far as I can tell, there isn't a whole lot you can actually do to it. My vote is the Bit One and I will probably be selling the MS8 and picking the Bit One up. The MS8 makes a great sound, but there were a few tweaks I was wanting to do to it and I just couldn't do it. If you are a fiddler, the MS8 probably isn't for you.

That being said, I was having some interference when running my MS8 with my electrical. Probably the way I have the signal routed and its in close proximaty to my second battery. I pulled it out, and was able to get the same sound from using my amps crossovers as I was with the MS8, just wasn't quite aligned like the MS8 had it. Not a huge deal though, as I am using the OEM locations for all speakers, and its aligned almost perfectly as is.

Also want to note that I haven't put a lot of research into the Alpine. I will do some more research on it and see if its gonna be better than the Bit One IMO. I like having the display like the Bit One and the MS8.

If you're going digital 360.3 all the way.

audison didn't like the digital signal

ms8 if you don't mind tuning speakers in pairs instead of their own individual EQ bands...

ms8 if you like the autotune feature

I'm using the Bit One through my Pure i-20 using the optical for my iphone. I must say that it made my HU obsolete, my alternator noise went away 100%. The only issue with the optical is when it gets optically disconnected it produces a popping noise, a sign that it does not see a signal annoying but understandable. Anytime it sees a signal disconnected before the Bit One has powered off it will pop a few milliseconds. So I just turn off the Bit One first before my iphone, problem solved. Unlike the Helix and others I know, only the Bit One lights up the Audison logo in blue which Is nice feature that it needs to be shown not tucked away.

Audison can toggle both channels or individual eq for the opposite channel. You can compare all channels of the left or right (but not either) xover slopes in one window showing you how all frequencies co exist for that side of the vehicle. There are three listening position you can save in memory when using an RTA. I know it is very stable using Windows XP without any problem unlike other Windows OS that might and have issues. It's very flexible for my use and don't see me upgrading to a Helix which I wanted before. After having my AudioControl SA 3052 RTA calibrated by AudiControl in Seattle, I don't see me needing any other processor. For a plus for AudioControl they even gave me a very nice blue bag to keep my RTA and a new mic cable for free and charge me a $100 for calibration plus S&H, thanks AudioControl.

check out the PPI DEQ.8 as well. or even the DSP-88R. The DEQ.8 software is decent, the DSP-88 is a little less user friendly. Ive been looking into both of them as well. The more I mess with the MS8, the more I am not a fan of the MS8. Just doesnt allow me to do what I want.

EDIT: The input mapping on the DEQ gives it the edge over the DSP and it has quite a few more features

You mean the sound stream/power acoustic DSP..
Dont believe power acoustic has a dsp...

but yes, the PPI DEQ.8 is the same as the SoundStream Synthesis. And dont knock them till you look at them. Based off the MiniDSP and a very capable processor at a good price. I'm going to order one next week.

I sell the ps8 ms8. 360.3 the zapc dsp and the helix processors everyone had told me they like the helix the best so far and one of my customers had gas all of them and the bit one to. He lived the helix

Ya it was PA software ppi was using in their "high end" head units. I just can't bring myself to touch any of it. I had OG ppi and SS.
