I need prefection now. Since I'm running active through my amps I do not have complete control over my tweeters and its shifting my stage a bit to the left. I got it close but its not perfect.

JBL MS-8- The auto tune is normall better than self tuning of better units.

Alpine PXA-H800- You can map a target curve and it will build it, I would still have to align.

Bit One- Its Audison but it has less feature than the other two.

3-way up front and subwoofers = 4-way. On head unit crossovers alone that puts you into the realm of P99RS, DRZ-9255, and the like. That's why 80PRS is not handling all crossover duties in this vehicle.

The bit one actually has more features than the other two. It's "pro" mode or whatever it is allows you to do anything you can think of, you'd have to be a very good tuner with some good measurement software to take advantage. I already posted my opinon. MS-8's used can be found for dirt cheap, get one and try it. If it doesn't do what you want resell and go h800.

I've been looking for one used. A friend was selling one but it's gone now. It's still a bit out of my budget right now. By time I'm ready I won't be able to find one.

That happens lol. I got mine new on amazon, it was on sale around christmas. Just hate you buying a new one and not liking it. Some installs it works great others it's a constant fight. I'll get rid of mine for an h800 in the future, but that's def at a later date, I'm broke now and have to work with what I got lol.

The road EQ looks like a cool feature if it works as advertised.

BitOne hands down. just look at eBay and look at how many refurbished MS-8 are on there. I've seen so many of those things act up. when the MS-8 first hit, I was a huge fan. now i've seen it's longevity and quality, i won't even install them anymore. i'm sure others will swear by them but I've installed quite a few and almost all of them had some sort of issue. the BitOne on the other hand, i've had just about no issues and whatever issues i had were customer preference.
