Problems with my new system

Okay, so here's what I had last week:

2 kicker comps, kicker zx750.1 amp, sony deck, etc

The system worked fine for the first 2 days, then it would stop working when i turned it up loud, like passed 3-5 on the deck.

The subs blew, and I got 2 pioneer premiers.

Now, the pioneer premiers worked great for 2 days, and it's doing the same thing, it like wont work when it's passed a certain amount on the deck, it will just cut out.

I think the amp was very hot, but i waited till it cooled down and it still does it.

I don't want these subs to blow, I need help, any suggestions?

edit: when I turn the amp down very low it'll work... Ive been looking online and it seems i might have a bad ground?

I'm taking it back to BestBuy tomorrow, but if someone can help me sooner that would be great thanks.

oh and also, I just upgraded my battery and alternator, theres plenty of power. The light on the amp also blinks and makes a clicking noise, I feel like i might have wired the subs incorrectly, cause I don't know much about ohms and stuff...

dude those comps were only rated 150rms a peice, and you put over double that to each? of course their gonna blow.

my guess is that you are feeding your amp an ohm load that it isnt stable down to, such as 1 ohm, whats the voice coil configuration on the pioneers and how many RMS each?

Yeah, I bet, but whatever I just want this thing fixed.

The lights don't dim or anything, the battery stays powered fully. I knew the comps were going to blow, whatever, theyre gone.

The premiers are DVC, 2ohms... The amp is wired with two positives and two negatives in each slot, and then those just go to the positive and negative of both subs...

Wire them like this

you got 3 options for those. .5, 2 or 8 ohm. 2 is your sweet spot.

THe sooner you wire them like this, the sooner the others can flame you for the Best Buy install. But in the end, you won't go back. Or you can go bitcch them out for wiring your shit incorrectly.
