alright, heres my plan for a 35 hz ported box for 2 12" L7's.

Is there a way to make the port wider than 3 inches in this case? I'm using a port calculator and if....

height: 13.5

width: 4

length = about 18"

If I go with a width of 3 i can go back like 15", which still seems like to far back for that box.

is the only alternative to make a smaller width/ height? I just dont want port noises, and i know a small port will make more noise than a large one, also i beleive larger ports create better sound? Thanks.

u can always change the direction the port goes....like in an l or something like that....i'd jus use pvc pipe as the port and jus use a u joint.....
