My sister gets her temps soon. She is looking at buying a 1990 chevy cavilier 4 door. Not in perfect shape but its cheap($800) and runs like new. Wants me to help build system for her car. looking at about $1,000 - $2,000 for whole system: subs, 3 1/2s, 6x9s, box, amp, wirers, and head unit. all suggestion are welcome. Most likely will get the stuff intsalled at Circuit City ( I learned, it's nice to have the extended warranty).

What kind of sound does she want? There are so many options...

oops forgot that. she likes rap and wants bass but nothing over powering. I have 2 12" polk GNXs in a bandpass box getting about 150 watts each and she thinks it a little in the powerful side.?? I was thinkin 2 10" GNXs (i'm happy with their proformance) in a small seald box. she wants to hear the words but feel the bump. If that helps at all?
