Problem

With my last 3 systems Ive had the same problem. My current setup which is 2 DB Drive Platinum 12s and a Hifonics Zeus XX amp. The problem is I get a cheap/muggy sounding bass out of em, sort of like cheap 6x9s hitting only 10x as loud. My friend who runs a Lanzar Vibe 1600 2 channel and 2 Visoniks(best 1000w Visoniks out there) sounds way cleaner and hits more clean then mine. Both are in Grand AM GTs in sealed boxes. IDK what the problem is, Im thinking maybe something with the wiring, like the ground or power wires? Subs and amp are wired correctly, so I cant figure anything else. Any help appreciated, thanks much.

Check your amp settings

Have you switched rca's at all

Try a new head unit mayby?

Have you properly set your gains (IE, not just put it all the way up)?

Im running a Pioneer Premier 680.. The local shop put it in for me, gains are set to a minimum and I get choppy, crappy bass when I hit medium to high volumes. I want crisp clean bass! Not this choppy, slow shit. Anyone else please?

did i not jsut see a 15" tc sub in your sig?>

dood its your system, you look at the setting on the amp and teh HU. if a shop did it, take it back.

What? Yes I had a TC9, I sold it. Got 2 DB Drives now. The local shop just put in the HU for me. I put everything else in.
