Problem

listen up all you car audio geniouses, i have a problem. so i got a Memphis M3 Dual 4 ohm woofer right. i got a JL 500/1 to power it at 2 ohms. k, so the problem is when i turn it up at certain points in songs the bass cuts out and makes a ''pop'' noise. when the volume is turned all the way down, i can hear a muffled sorta staticy noise coming from the woofer..

id say check your ground

or your RCA's. Also check your speaker wiring for shorts.
