OK, so my battery in the pager started dying. So, I replaced it, and I thought all was well. Later that day, I go to unarm my car. The alarm disarms, but the pager doesn't update the status of the alarm! It shows that it's "unlocked" whether or not it is, and whenever I give it a command, the pager gives a series of beeps, just like the "out of range" beeps. So I proceeded to erase the pager from memory, and reenter it. Same thing. I removed the pager from memory, pulled the battery from the alarm for 5 minutes, and reentered it again. STILL acting weird. The only thing I haven't done was pull the power from the brain, because that wouldn't do much good with the backup battery, and the alarm's nearly impossible to get to, so I can't pull the power through the wiring harness.
Is there something I haven't done, or should I give up and take it to the DEI installer that put it in?
