When I installed my crossovers, I put them on the floorboard right under the dash, so they were sitting vertically. Unfortunately the one on the driver's side was sitting slightly behind the brake pedal. I didn't have any problem with it until one day when I stretched my legs and pushed the brake pedal far enough to push in the cover of the crossover and make contact with a component on the PCB. As you would expect, all speakers stopped functioning.
At first I thought I just fried the crossovers, but when I tried hooking up the tweeters and mids one at a time directly to the amp, all I got was soft static. I'm just wondering if you guys think whether the speakers or the amp is messed up.
