Blaupunkt GTc652 any good?

79 bucks at crutchfield, 50 watt rms, im just looking to power these off my 22watt rms headunit...

there are dozens of brands to choose from... are these any good or should i look at something better?

i dont really like LOUD LOUD music, so an amp would be 2 much for me

They are decent, but I would try to find a local dealer, see if you can negotiate a lower price... closer to $50 would be nice. Suggested list is $85.00 but you can often buy speakers closer to half of list.

A better speaker would be Orion HCCA 6.2

Best for that power would be Pioneer rev, TS-C160R - they are very efficient and have above average clarity on low power.

Don't confuse an amp with only SPL oriented systems.... as a decent and efficient set of components even off a clean 2x30-50w rms will exhibit much better sound quality than the same set off of HU power (2x13-20w rms with a nasty amount of distortion).

x2 on the REV comps if you can swing the extra cost. And of you can find a decent amp to power them, the results will be well worth it.

Or, stick with the Blau's and check out Profile amps:

GTc652 $80

Profile 400SX $45

Use a test tone and a DMM to set the gain to output 2x50-75w rms, and you'll be all set.
