Problem with Resonant Engineering Order

This is not a pre-order. It was not discussed ahead of time to take money for a product in the future.

When I ordered my XXX's and they were back ordered for parts, due to timing issues I asked to bill me on the spot. I was told it was a company policy to not bill until the item is shipping. This is either a drastic change in company policy since 3 months ago, or a clerical error of some sort.

I’ve been very laid back about it. I’m not worried about them taking my money. I’ll just give them a call and actually make them explain what the problem/holdup is and why I don’t have my subs since apparently they should have shipped close to when my CC was billed.

* UPDATE *

Just got off the phone with RE and the person who answered said he was positive they shipped today because he just help load them on the truck like an hour ago. FedEx is slow to update the tracking info sometimes but we will see.

I'm not debating the fact that it is or isn't lawful to charge the card before the order is shipped. I was simply stating that the big bashing of eD was not due to that fact. Granted, that was the original post in the "bashing" thread, but was not what got everything out of hand.

Just a thing that will have to be delat with on smaller online companies. They cannot, and usually don't have 500-1000 woofers in stock, of each SKU. Understandibly so.

But many peeople have gone down and special ordered a car, and had no issues laying thousands down and have to wait weeks for that new car.

The only issue I would have is that they do what they say they will do...that is only good business practice. If you've been billed, you should have a tracking number, or visa versa, no bill, no tracking.

But I think you'll be OK, they have not been known to stiff any customers that I am aware.

Using a Y RCA to split signal from amp to amp to give both amps the signal they need from the HU and subs in different /separate enclosures tuned...
