Problem with Pioneer DEH-P8600MP

Hello!

I have a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP CD head unit in my car, and yesterday I started having a problem. The front face is motorized and when I push the eject button, the front face only comes out about half way. When I push the button again to have it return to position, it goes in half of what it came out. However, I'm able to push the button on the underside of the front panel and pull the front panel off. When I do this, the carriage returns to its normal position in the head unit. As it is right now, I'm unable to eject the CD that is still inside. I can play the CD and radio with no problems. This unit is about a year and a half old.

Has anybody seen this problem or have any idea what needs to be done to correct this?

The limiter inside is screwed. Your gonna need to take it into a repair depot and get them to replace it for ya.

not to jack the thread but my 960 screen crapped on me but the unit still works but without that screen u cant adjust any of the options and now that its disconected when ever u hook it back up all the options go back to factory settings which means sub output is turned off.
