problem with numerous amplifier shortages

What I meant by using my gain is that when I get rue new amps I set them and leave it alone but when I set everything for the first time I normally turn the bass boost up more than the gain. Never more than half way though.

I have a 205 amp alternator with 0 gauge wore running to the back. I have extra grounds under the hood also. I have 3 batteries including a yellow top. I have 4 gauge running to both amps coming off the batteries. I also have a 3.5 farad cap as well off 4 gauge wire. My lights don't dim at all when I play my system at might loud. My car is very loud for the setup I have. When it is working properly. Lol

Your grounding to the floor board? Not a good ground. Get rid of the capacitor especially

I'm grounded to the bottom of my trunk. Scraped the paint to the metal. That's the way it is for both of my amps in the same spot.

Why don't you ground to one of your Batts? And then ground your batts to eachother and the frame of your vehicle

So basically ground amps to batteries and Ground one battery to the other battery and then battery to ground? So basically have one ground ?

ground front and back batts to the car body, connect both batterys and fuse on the positive sides, get rid of the cap.

Ok i Will do that tomorrow. And what about the amps? Ground them to the batteries instead of the car body?

ground the amps to the body, closest point or to the same ground for the rear batt
