Problem with new Kenwood Headunit?

I just installed a new Kenwood ddx-418 headunit in my 07 altima, my stock speakers but I have a mtx amp and 2-12inch subs. Before installation my speakers worked fine, and the sub and amp worked fine with another deck in my honda accord- Now if I turn up the volume in my altima past 28(it goes to 35) I will hear a cracking, crackling sound coming from all the speakers. I'm not sure how to fix this... and I've searched many websites for solutions.. If I need a speaker amp does anyone know how to set that up? or have a website that explains how?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

FYI: I turned the bass down on the stock speakers on my deck to the lowest and turned off loudness. Same thing!

28 should be the most you turn that head-unit up anyways, it's the furthest I turn mine up to avoid clipping. You're likely clipping your speakers. Why would that surprise you? You still have stock speakers in there, yes? So you're feeding them too much power, and clipping them. The solution is, don't go past 28 anyways, and get new speakers.
