Problem with new audio setup

Alright guys, i'm going to do the best I can with explaining this and not being too terribly wordy, but i'm not quite sure WHAT the problem is, only that there is a problem.

I recently purchased and installed an AudioQue HDC-315 with an AQ200d amp in my 2004 Pontiac GrandAm. Custom built the speaker box and ran all the (0-gauge) wire myself. Fired it up, and it all works great. I've been running it at a pretty low volume lately to break it in. It has now been about a month with close to 80 hours of play time, and I decided to crank it up a little. The sub sounds great, but there's a popping coming from my rear speaker-area.

My first instinct was that there was too much power going to the 6x9's by the rear window, and that they were just bottoming out, so I disconnected them, but I still hear the pop when I crank the volume up. It sounds like the speakers are being sent too much power, or kinda like how plastic sounds when it breaks. It's just a single pop, even on long-beats. Relatively unpredictable, as it doesn't happen all the time. Additionally, I find that if I open up my trunk and/or back doors, it doesn't happen until my volume hits 22-25, vice the 16-18 when they're shut.

Spending some time laying in the back seat with the seats down, it's definitely not the subwoofer, but something in the back panel above the rear seats. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I've heard recommendations that it could be the whole back panel being sucked against the metal that supports the trunk or that it's the speaker itself being sucked in because of the sub.

I'm at a loss, so any input would be great!

P.S. Not trying to hate, but this single HDC-315 completely drowned out my buddy's 2x 12" kickers. I'd have to get the models for you guys, but i'd recommend AQ to anybody, ANYBODY.
