Ok guys, this is as honest as it gets.
I get to work yesterday morning around 6am at the Fire Department. I listen to some talk radio and some light jazz on the way. Everything works fine. Get to work, park my truck, start my normal day.
Around 9pm I decide to go out to my truck, set the alarm, and listen to a little radio before calling it a night. Well, no sound from my subwoofer. I make sure my amp has power, it does. Check and make sure my subwoofer is still turned on at the deck, it is. So I turn the volume up a bit louder and my NEW AA ARSENAL is just kinda "STUCK." It is trying to make noise, but it won't, just some horrible drowned out sound.
I am tripped the hell out. I get home this morning and pull out the sub. The only thing running through my mind is that the heat has caused some type of trauma to my sub. I don't see anything visually wrong with the sub. It is as if the subwoofer is glued in a stuck position. I can't believe this. My truck sat all day without playing at all. I honestly cant push on the cone and get the sub to move an inch.
Can someone give me some insight? Did the temperature change in my truck cause something to melt?? Its in a 1.2 sealed box just as recommended by AA.
It feels as if its literally welded in a set position. Without playing!!!!!
I am tripping out here !!!
