Okay, I have someone offereing me two of these. Now, there are two things stopping me front buying them. Well three. But, anyways..

Number one, what will two of these be like in a Mercedes Benz 190E (1992) sound like. I will barely have enough room to put them in a box. But would two be over kill for a trunk? How would it sound? And the air vents wont have enough room at the top. So ill need to lay the subs down, or have it on the side.

Second, is how in the hell do I run wire from the HU to the trunk. Would I need to take out the seats, or what? And im sure that depends on the car, so anyone have any idea for this car?

And the third is that im 15, so the parents letting me do this. But.. Lets concentrate on the first two //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

First off I wouldnt go with 15's if you dont have the room, you would be better off with 2 10's or 12's in the right size box rather then 2 15's in too small of a box. Second you wouldnt have to take out the seats if you didnt want to just tuck it in the sides under the carpet. Powerbase are decent but for that price I would go with some kicker comp vr 12's

Well im getting two used from someone used on this forum. Although, I think they are mint.

Anyways, I just mean that the top to the bottom of the trunk is like 18 inches. But, thats in the back, and I can make a box to fit it, and I can make it come out, ill take the whole trunk if need be.

Check out these

That woofer is better than the comp vr . You can get it cheaper than that website also. But I agree if you don't have the room for a proper size box for the 15's get yourself some 12's .

Ill be getting quite a bit off them. Price isnt the issue here. I dont think, lol. But, I can fit a proper box in it. Will take some time to make, but I can do it easily.

Just.. how will two of these compare to other subs. And, what kind of amp would it take to power them..

But really, what im asking here, is how much do you guys like them. As I said ill be getting a good price on these, so are these good ''beginner'' subs, or whatever? Do you pump out good bass? Are they crisp, are they geared more towards loudness, or sound quality?

Pm

What i was sayin is i have 1 pair (last pair of the original)8 powerbase XS 15s, which means they are brand new and if you bought them they would be in the original box and packing, they will out perform the kicker comp cvrs no problem and they get INSANE loud with little room, they hit the lows very clean an accurate the reason I would sell is because I already have 6 other pairs and these are just sitting around, and I have pics.
another pm

450rms per coil, dual 4, mounting depth 6 5/8, 15 inch subs sql drivers, work well in sealed or ported enclosures

so what do you guys think
