Problem With my head light?

ok both of my headlights work when they are only using the day light running lights .

but when i turn my lights on the left head light FUSE goes out and . i change the fuse and the light still works only when its on "day light running light. when i turn my lights the left fuse keeps blowing.

could it be a short? if so how can i find the faulty wire?

multimeter. It probably would help if we knew what kind of car you have also.

do you have an aftermarket alarm or rem start in the car???

wierd it's just the left headlight.. and the fact it works fine with the dayttime running lights...

no remote start no after market alarm

just a stock kill switch (extra option_)

it's gotta be something from the light switch to the headlight relay...

becasue of the fact the daytime running lights work fine... right??

yup day light runnig lights work on both headlights. its just when i turn on my regular lights is when the left fuse blows.

should i check from the switch the the left head light relay or from switch to the left headlight fuse?

and where can i get a wiring diagram for this car?

as far as the headlight wireing diagram a chitlins manuel or a nissan dealership should have it...

i would check both, from the switch to the fuse ect....

now dose the switch run the SAME headlight's the daytime system kicks on???

same switch yes but when i trun that switch to use my regular headlights thats when it the fuse pops

yea.. no good...

you try replacing the bulb. maybe its damaged and draws too much juice when switched on.

but why does only the left one blow and not the right if their the same.
