problem with memphis 500d

when i turn my radio on, when the amp comes on it tries to work. The power and the protect light keep flickering back and forth...its gettin on my nerves cuz i got in my car one day and i just started to cut out, then it went into protect and then back on and into protect and it keeps doin that...i know im not running it too hard cuz i only have 1 15'' audiobahn aw1571 DVC..i really need the help from someone who knows what their doin...HELP ME PLEASE!! lol

sounds like ohm load is too low to me, just dont think it wouldve worked in the first place

im only runnin a 15'' dvc audiobahn..each voice coil is 4 ohms...and the voice coils are wired together and its bridged on the amp..its been workin great. then it started actin like it was cuttin out then poof! it stopped...im confused..all the wiring is good on it...
