Hello there, alright here's my question. I just ran my wires for my setup in my car. I am running two amps and two twelves and a cap of course. For some reason, when I got done with everything, I plugged the fuse back into the fuse holder and the cap turned on. That happens normally becuz that cap doesn't have a remote, but the amp comes on with NO KEY in the car. What could this be??

try running a different remote wire. where is it coming from? the HU? if so do you have the HU wired to stay on at all times? this has to do with remote wire some how or another.

Well my rcas are from my dvd receiver, then ran to the amp that I use for my subs, in the input. Then the rcas have a little remote wire from it. That is going to the remote spot in between the area where you put the power and ground into the amp. It goes there. then I have an amp for my components which has a remote too. And btw, my cap reads 8.91 volts. Which hasn't happened before...

a remote wire if you did not know is a small +12v signal that comes from your head unit that leads to your amps REM+ (remote) terminal. It signals the amp to turn on when the head unit is turned on.

so you need to splice the remote wire coming from your dvd player's remote wire (blue or blue / white) (if thats your main receiver) and do the same to your other amp

i dont know about the 8.91 volts though
