problem with dynaudio.need help!!!!

i have just installed my esotec 242(2 way) running through a STEG K seiries amp putting 155*2 at 4ohms.i am using an alpine 9887 for the source and complete monster cabling.the doors are comletely damped and the midbass has been installed on MDF rings.

however i am not satisfied with the sound.there is absolutely no top end and the midbass doesnt have that 'kick' in it.they have run for about 35 hours and day by day the midbass is gettin worse(weaker).their is no integration between the tweeters and mids.the tweeters are sounding harsh at higher volume.all the drivers are IN phase.

i suppose that the mids are underpowered but steg is a good amplifier and it has a regulated power supply from 11-14 volts.according to a freind of mine a genesis DUAL mono will sort out most of the problems.

what do you guys think????anyone heard dyn/steg combo???

how well does a dyn/genesis dual mono sound????
