problem with car starting

OK here is my proble. I just put in my cdt's and a usx 2080 amp and wheni start my car sometimes it dies out. Then i open my door and pop the hood wiggle the power wire and go back in and start up the car. Then when that didnt work i unhooked the amp and and opened the door and then went back in the car and it started. What is wrong. Is it the amp or my power cable. If you need more specifics ask me and ill tell you.

make sure the cables onyour battery terminals are TIGHT!

I had a similar problem. There was corrosion on the terminals, so I sanded them down and gave em a good twist on a wrench. That fixed em for me.
