I installed my new amp and subwoofers. I wired my 2 idq 10's in parrellel for a 1ohm final load. Problem is amp doesnt seem to be putting out any power. At almost full gain it will make a faint bass sound. Call wooferetc and the guy got me to check everything he could think of and couldnt come up with anything. Any ideas?

Just replaced my old kicker setup
And you directly swapped amps? You probably (and should have) disconnected the battery in the process so it could still be a setting on your HU. Either that or a setting on the amp most likely. If you've got time to kill, snap a pic of the settings on the amp and post it here so we can see how you have everything set.

the last pic is rather fuzzy, do you have the rca's plugged into the "input" and not the "output"?

and be careful with the stray power and ground wire. It only takes one little strand to tough something

its not suppose to and poof!

make sure that you have the subs wired correctly. If a coil is wired wrong, the will just fight each other and you will

get a very "muted" sound.

this is what im interested in knowing. If your subs are moving quite a bit but not producing much bass it would be because they are wired out of phase. if two subs are out of phase they cancel eachother out.

Guy at woofer etc had me check to make sure they were in phase. This is how they are wired http://images.the12volt.com/12voltimages/2_4ohm_dvc_1ohm.gifRca are to input side. At almost full gain it is a very faint bass sound. Subs do not visibly move.
Hmm...

What you describe sounds like the coils are wired opposite of each other.(assuming the amp is good)one coil trying to move forward and one trying to go the opposite way

Try just using one sub on the amp and see what it dose.
