problem wiring two D2 subs?

i have two kicker cvr D2's hooked to a 1000w memphis amp. i followed the fosgate wiring wizard, hooking the subs up. the problem is, when i turn the volume up to one on my HU, a loud constant humming bass comes out of the subs.

i cannot fidure out why this is happening. could it be the amp is not stable @ 2ohms? could it be my RCA's. is there a certain way to wire the subs, accordingly with the white dots on the positve and negative terminals?

Is everything on the box sealed, the subs arent leaking air around where they screw in? I would check that first, then consider electrical fault. Just run your hand around where you screw the sub into the box, feeling for any air leaks (obviously make sure to be playing a song). If you find a leak, unscrew the whole sub, then screw it in in a sort of star pattern, screwing in one screw, the screw directly across from it, etc... and if that doesnt work, buy some plumbers putty or something of that nature to run around the edge.

Or perhaps even if your wires arent isolated enough, did you run your power right next to your audio cable? Without proper insulation, this can distort music.

make sure your RCA's are making a good connection. play a song and wiggle them around on the deck and your amp. make sure they are tight. also make sure you follow the diagram correctly. the white dots on the terminals mean alot, double check your wiring and get back to us.

ok, this might sound strange, but now when everything is hooked up, when i turn the volume to 1 on the head unit the subs do the loud bbbbbbbbbbbb noise. but when i turn it up and put my hand by one of the subs, it stops and plays fine. obviously i cant cut my hand off and tape it to the sub, or have the hand of GOD, but for some reason it works with my hand by it. then when i take my hand away, it does the bbbbbbbbbbbb again?

does anyone know why this is?

take it to a local shop and have them fix whatever you screwed up
