PPI PC4100 2 Ohm Bridged Stable?

I just bought a PPI PC4100. I have a pair of Focal 165K2 that I will power with 100x2. The question I have is I want to drive a sub(s) and bridge the other 2 channels. The amp is rated 400W@4ohm bridged.

Are these amps stable at 2ohm bridged? If so would it make 800W@2 ohm?

I question this because I am trying to decide on what sub(s) I want to get.

you can bridge two of the channels and get 400 watts at four ohms. It is not rated to do two ohms bridged. then use the other two channels to drive, say, a component up front at 100 watts per channel at four ohms or 200 watts per channel at two ohms. Or bridge them for two 400 watt channels at four ohms each. Whew,, hope that made since to you and answered your question. Basically you can run two, three, or four channels.

Yeah I didn't think it was 2 ohm stable either at mono. Well at least it seems even if it was capable the protection circuit would kick on. Worth asking I suppose.

Off to my next question I'll post in the subwoofer section.
